As the original seniors community in Rancho Bernardo, Seven Oaks is a thriving 55+ community with a full featured community center. This is an active walking community in the heart of Rancho Bernardo. The Seven Oaks Community Center This picture shows the southern half of Seven Oaks. The view looks west from Pomerado Road, and shows where Bernardo Heights adjoins Seven Oaks. Bernardo Heights is to the left and Seven Oaks is to the right. Bernardo Heights’ Las Brisas is in the lower left. Nacido Drive, Lomica Drive, and Mantilla Road are the three streets that can be seen running from the bottom towards the top of the photo through Seven Oaks. Seven Oaks is Rancho Bernardo’s original 55+ neighborhood. It sports an active community center and offers some of the most affordable housing in Rancho Bernardo. (photo taken August 2004) This view looks east across Seven Oaks towards North Poway. Rancho Bernardo Road runs up through the center of the photo, and becomes Espola Road as it enters Poway, running towards Stoneridge and Poway Lake. Pomerado Road runs from left to right (north to south) across the center of the photo.
